Well as per usual, Mom is packed before me and I am finishing some buttons..still one more trip to REI I think, one more ditty bag?

2===That also has the info on 2017 Star Party.  It is Aug 12/13. Truncated version this year due to friend, Jane, coming in for Perseids and jaunt to Chelan.

Thus with Jane coming, I am cc’ing many of my Grand Canyon buddies. 

(Plus more of a tech note=I will cc some of my Aurora Borealis friends from Alaska trip, since they may want to glance at what I am up to AND my plan is to have time to add a blog post or two about our last March Aurora adventure…this is besides the Feb PAUL trip.)
