Paris day before my Primiere Concert

After the 6:15 am Fire Alarm wake up I transferred to next hotel Ibis and approcé  Stade de France. Fun tents made it through the nights rain. Got number 174 on wrist. Found cafe ouvert had cheesy bread avec I think ham. And cafe o lait. Sat with number 172 and 173. Her friend had held the sign in Oslo for All That Heaven Will Allow from which my Fav Bruce pic came, and button. It is a small world in the Bruce famille.

Grab some aura rather than some knee...unless of course to support him as he reaches out over the crowd to mic the singing sunny day boy..    The crowd surfing is just so appropriate .....with that , yeah, antic, he is literally supported by his friends. Just search crowd surf Finland for example...he just falls back and trusts....

Hello to those friends who have heard my Bruce SPRINGSTEEN story. Yeah I am going to see him in a few days. I have attempted to set up a blog...as well as some other avenues to share thoughts , video , pics of my experience.

Perhaps I will just sit back ( well stand back, Bruce does not allow sitting!), and watch/ enjoy the concert...instead of a lot of video stuff...naturally there is huge amt of that by others.

I also plan to have a separate BRUCE BLOG playlist or what ever it it called....ought to be able to find...but I will probably reference  this ( a 'link ') in main blog and/ or email. 

Any and all this pretty much depends on Internet connection over there, which is never completely clear to me.

Of course for real fun you can kinda play WHERE's BROGAN ? ( where's Waldo ...) because I suspect I may pop up on a video near you...given my pretty bright and reflective hat/ shirt/ signage....

WHY I found Bruce at this time?

I think it was just time for another mentor.... Who the heck knows?
As I ordered and watched the Barcelona tape live in Hyde Park DVD.... I just couldn't believe how physical and passionate Bruce is.
Two songs and he's a complete sweat hanging upside down on the mike stand,, This proprietary metal spike of a stand... Supports his whole gyrating weight. It is made of solid steel.
So this spring both the Grand Canyon and now Bruce have helped me to get out of my doldrums.
Feels like I'm checking things off my bucket list.... As they say about downton Abbey.. KEEP CALM AND SEE BRUCE.
The guy goes inches from the crowd actually crowd surfs... Nobody grabs nobody yells well they scream but that's different..... That's enthusiasm!.... It's the mutual trust that grabs me....
I've been reading a lot about him and of course reading on the various forums.... Following all the concert reviews.... Each one getting better and better.... The Glasgow one I think it was three and half hours And he's 63 years old now ..some months older than I am.
He's totally in the moment gives 100% all the time.... How could I not like and love him....guess we have some compatibility.
Many posters have what's called the signature line at the bottom.
Such as:
Bruce Springsteen is not rock music it is a belief system.
Do you suppose there's another band where a fan would hold up a sign thank you Bruce for improving our lives !
Who Else would take out a full-page ad thanking the fans for allowing the band into their lives , their culture , their family,  their generations.

How I found Bruce. ..the backstory.

In March like three months ago I watch this movie called THE HUNTER.  It was about a guy trying to find an extinct Tasmanian Tiger... Killing it and getting the genetic material for some conglomerate. Actual fact it was a Tasmanian tiger that went extinct like in 1935 they showed a little black-and-white video of it. There was an earlier guy but he disappeared and you see a house with a wife and two Australian kids... Plus, and this is the key, a big tree with seven or eight speakers. Our new hunter shows up fixes the generator is able to play music out of these speakers.  First there's some Vivaldi blasting...then some odd haunting music...I LIKE IT, Look it up = I'm ON FIRE...by Bruce SPRINGSTEEN . Of course I get to YouTube see his version where he comes down and sits in the chair right next to the audience... Inches away very unusual. Get to some more videos realize this interaction with the audience is usual for him... And very unusual 
Turns out he is a very nice guy. After getting and watching a few DVDs like the Barcelona Live I realize this is both unbridled  joy and mutual respect. The band and the fans have a lot of fun.
I am now hooked ... See you on website go shoot he was in Pacific Northwest last fall but say he's in London... Maybe I could go with mom get some tickets.... She says too much for her but why don't I go  and while I'm there when I see him in a couple other places.....this of course fits with my Life is short mode, and a bit of the "If you're going to do it you might overdo it" rule number 4.
So month later I'm going to see you four times .....
Di and other friends are curious and envious ....we see he is in Rio in September ?? Go there?....hmmm too far And rock festival format...so no deal.
..hmmm let's see...hey he is in Switzerland between London and Germany...oh heck....I hit the button., why not....folks say . When you're in the hospital looking at your bucket list are you gonna be able to explain why you wanted to save $215 to not see Bruce another time?? Will you be forced to see Britney Spears for all eternity  because you skipped seeing Bruce??

aka BROG's BRUCE BLOG ..First post Set Up

Well a per usual it is too late at night and I am a week out , T-6 for flying to see BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN  in Europe.  How did this come about. Easy story. ..will have to post a little later...gad I have never been one for chronological stories....consequential not chronological ...
  So I am seeing Bruce and keeping up with his current concerts.
I keep seeing reports and YouTube video that I then share to mom and others and Facebook. So I will now do that here...and send link to this,my blog....think this will work. Perhaps links to my youtube channel or even twitter although I know Mom does not tweet.
